While not all sets may have shiny cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket , as doing that would increase the chance of them feeling less special over time, Celestial Guardians' approach is interesting because it focuses on reprints more than new cards
Now White doesn't have a ton of generic staples -- which is kinda a problem in general, but that's a topic for another time -- but the staples it does have are really good and they share a common theme: having less lands than your opponents
Warp Warp is similar to evoke in that you get to cast the spell from your hand for much cheaper, but then you have to exile it at the next end step (usually yours)
Appletun, Flapple, and Applin give you a whole evolutionary family built around a single fruit, and the Surging Sparks versions are some of the nicest art the line has gotten
Finally, Simic Flash also makes good use of [c]Nissa, Who Shakes the World[/c] and [c]Hydroid Krasis[/c] as alternate win conditions
Maybe Neyith of the Dire Hunt is a lost cause
