This deck has a small motif featuring the number seven, and with Aerith, it's probably best to gain seven life once than one life over seven turns
Zinnia's primary ability, to get +X/+0 for each other creature you control with a base power of one is almost forgotten about with this ability, since you can make the most of your enter the battlefield effects and other strong effects to let you duplicate them
The first list included: All cards from Alpha and Beta that werent reprinted in Fourth Edition or Ice Age , including the iconic Power 9 All uncommon and rare cards from Arabian Nights and Antiquities that hadnt been reprinted with a white border (i.e., that werent reprinted in Revised , Fourth Edition , or Chronicles ) All rare cards from Legends and The Dark that hadnt been reprinted with a white border Afterwards, more and more cards were added to the reserved list until Mercadian Masques was released in 1999
Its especially brutal if you can flash this in as a combat trick, since most players wont dare to attack when this is on their creature
Reminder: The second Magic World Championship was won by a Royal Assassin, Pestilence, Circle of Protection: Artifacts deck
I think the only time it is more desirable than a black tutor is when you are relying on Channel as one of your effects which is a pretty bad starting place for any list
