I had a goal to make myself an awesomely themed MTG Aristocrats Commander deck with Lurrus of the Dream-Den as my companion

They are placed on top of a Pokmon card, giving the Pokmon access to the particular move on the card

Flavour wise it is still a total winner, little in magic compares to the feeling of impending doom you have as you repeatedly chump block the ever growing Spirit Monger just waiting for the time it is big enough to one shot you and your blockers get removed

Even simple multicolored-spell chains feel overwhelming when everything starts to stack together
