While it has synergy, It's the once per turn clause that really stops me keeping this card

So you could have a few characters out on your board, make them exerted by questing or challenging, then play a character with Bodyguard and exert it on that turn

Its only good if you care about getting cards into your graveyard but it does so incredibly efficiently
